The Lindenwood gymnastics team set four program records, including the top overall team score in school history, on Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia, Pa. The record-setting day helped the Lady Lions win a quad meet over Temple, Eastern Michigan, and Rutgers.

Lindenwood shattered its previous program record by having a team score of 196.400. It was the first time the Lady Lions hit the 196 mark, and easily surpassed the previous team mark of 195.875. The team also set records with a 49.100 score on the bars, and a 49.425 mark on the beam.
Kierstin Sokolowski tied her own school record with a score of 9.950 on the beam.

Lindenwood started on the floor and had its second-highest score of the season with a 48.875.
Ryan Henry led the team with a 9.875, her highest mark of the season. She tied for second overall in the competition.
Andavea Alexander was second with a mark of 9.850.

Lindenwood's scores kept going up from there, starting with a 49.000 on the vault. It was the third time in program history that the Lady Lions scored a 49.000 or higher in that event.
Kierstin Sokolowski won the overall title with a 9.875.
Jordan Boogerd had a career-best 9.825, and
Breanna Franklin scored a 9.800.

On the bars, Lindenwood had four scores above 9.800. Henry and Sokolowski both placed third overall with marks of 9.850, and Alexander and
Courtney Mitchell were close behind with scores of 9.825.

The Lady Lions clinched the team title on the beam when it had one of the top event performances in program history as Lindenwood's gymnasts kept topping each other throughout their six routines. Alexander had a solid 9.750 to start. Franklin followed with a 9.825, and
Taylor Colwell had a career-high 9.850.
Emily Milliet and
Ryan Henry were up next, and they became the fifth and sixth gymnasts in school history to score a 9.900 or higher on the beam as both scored a 9.900 exactly. Sokolowski finished up with her record-tying performance, which gave the Lady Lions the top-four spots in the overall rankings.

With the performance, Lindenwood improved its RQS score to 194.765. With two meets still left before nationals, the Lady Lions already have clinched their best RQS mark in program history. Next Friday, Lindenwood has its final tuneup before the conference meet when it travels to Columbia, Mo. for the State of Missouri meet.
