The Lindenwood women's gymnastics team competed in St. Charles, Mo. on Friday afternoon at the Gymquarters Mardi Gras Invitational in the Family Arena.
Ryan Henry had two routines of 9.800 or higher to lead the Lady Lions in the tri-meet with Minnesota and Northern Illinois.

Henry's top performance came on the bars where she recorded a score of 9.875. That tied for the top mark by a Lady Lion this season. It was also a career-high for Henry in the event, and tied for the fifth-best mark in program history. She also scored a 9.800 on the floor, her second-best score of the year in that event. Henry finished fourth overall in both of those events, and also had a 9.750 on the beam, which was seventh-best on the day.

Lindenwood's other top performance came from
Kierstin Sokolowski, who returned this week and had a 9.825 on the beam. She placed fourth overall and tied for the highest score on the team in that event in 2018. Sokolowski also had a 9.725 on the vault and a 9.775 on the bars.

Jordan Boogerd and
Aleah Leman both tied for the team-high on the vault with a 9.750 score, and
Kyndall Baze had a 9.700. Other top scores on the bars were a 9.775 from
Courtney Mitchell and a 9.700 from
Taylor Colwell. Colwell also had a mark of 9.700 on the beam. On the floor,
Breanna Franklin scored a 9.725, and
Andavea Alexander had a mark of 9.700.

In the team competition, Minnesota won with a mark of 195.725. Northern Illinois was runner-up with a 195.025, and Lindenwood finished third with a score of 193.600.

Lindenwood will be home on Sunday, Feb. 25, when it hosts Iowa State and Illinois State at 1 p.m. in Hyland Arena.
