The Lindenwood gymnastics team continued its steady performances on Friday afternoon at the Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo. The Lady Lions scored a 194.000 and placed second at the GymQuarters Invitational.

No. 16 Nebraska won the competition with a 197.125. The Lions just edged Brown who finished with a 193.350, and Seattle Pacific finished fourth with a 191.000.

Lindenwood was right around the 48.500 mark in all four events, led by a 48.600 on the beam. Other event scores were 48.575 on the floor, 48.450 on the vault, and 48.375 on the bars.

Individually,
Kierstin Sokolowski had a team-best mark of 9.825 on both the vault and beam. She placed third in the beam and fourth on the vault.
Aubree Horn led the team on the bars with a 9.800, which was good for a sixth-place overall finish.
Andavea Alexander led the team with a 9.800 floor score.
Ryan Henry had a 38.725 all-around score, just off her season-high.

Lindenwood will be home on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. for a meet against Brown and Seattle Pacific. The event will be the team's Pink Out Day, as well as its inaugural Alumni Day.
