Lindenwood women's hockey coach Scott Spencer announced his captains for the 2014-15 on Friday. Tae Otte will be the third captain in the NCAA history of the program. Alternate captains will be Brooke Peden and Shara Jasper.
 
Otte, a freshman defenseman, redshirted her first season on the Lindenwood roster in 2013-14. She previously played for the Little Caesars program in Michigan.
 
Peden, a junior defenseman, has played in 66 games for Lindenwood over the last two season. She has recorded one goal and five assists in her career, and was once named the CHA Player of the Week.
 
Jasper, a junior forward, also redshirted last year after transferring from Minnesota Duluth. She played in 67 games in two seasons for Minnesota Duluth. Jasper recorded six goals, 12 assists, and three game-winning goals there.
 
Lindenwood hockey begins the 2014-15 season on Sept. 26-27 at home against Wisconsin in the Texas Roadhouse Classic Series.
