Nicole Hensley was selected to the United States Women's Under-22 Select Team over the weekend. Hensley is one of two goalies on the team that will compete in a three-game series against Canada on Aug. 21-24 in Calgary, Alberta.

Hensley and University of Wisconsin goalie Alex Rigsby will be the two goalies on the roster. Other notable players include Alex Carpenter, Michelle Picard, and Lee Stecklein, all members of the United States team at the 2014 Olympics. Hensley was the only member of College Hockey America (CHA) to make the squad.

The series against Canada will start on August 21 with a 7:30 p.m. (central) game. Game two will take place the next day at 4 p.m. The final game will be on Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. Every game will be streamed online at usahockey.fasthockey.com.

Hensley will be a junior this upcoming season for the Lady Lions. She had a .921 save percentage and made a NCAA Division I-best 1,198 saves last season.
