Nicole Hensley was named the CHA Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon. It is the second time this season that Hensley has won this honor.
Hensley went 1-0-1 in the net last week against RIT. In nearly 125 minutes in goal, she had a 1.92 GAA and a .946 save percentage. All four of the goals that she allowed were power-play goals as RIT was unable to score an even-strength goal against her.
In Friday's 1-1 tie, Hensley made 37-of-38 saves, including two in the overtime period. A day later, she collected 33 saves in Lindenwood's 4-3 win.
Hensley has a .910 save percentage this season, including a .934 mark in CHA games. She has a .500 record in conference play and has a 2.58 GAA.
