The Lindenwood men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Missouri Southern State Lion Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Joplin, Mo.
 
On the men's side, Nicholas Orf had the best showing when he finished third in the weight throw and 10^th in shot put with a 14.02 distance. Ben McGraw placed seventh in the 5,000m run in 15:55 followed by Ethan Stack in 10^th place.
 
The Lady Lions also had a good outing with Mary Brosamer-Senger finishing the 800m run in 2:29. Emily Fichtinger had a 10.09 shot put distance while Natasha Mouratidou had a weight throw of 13.14m. Claire Buckman placed 10^th in the Pole Vault with a J3.10m.
 
The track and field teams will travel to Warrensburg, Mo., to compete in Central Missouri's Mule Relays on Feb. 2.
