The Lindenwood cycling team finished in ninth place at the Collegiate Track Nationals in Indianapolis September 15-17. Nicholas Chevalley and Ashley Rethemeyer represented the Lions at the event which attracted over 150 athletes from 30 different schools.

Rethemeyer was coming off her recent conference championship and competed in four different events including the Points Race, Match Sprints, 500m Time Trial and the 3k Time Trial. She had her best showing in the Match Sprints with a ninth place finish earning her 15th place in the overall Omnium.

Chevalley competed in three different events including the 1 km Time Trial, the 4 km Time Trial and the Points Race. His best finish of the weekend was 22nd place in the Points Race.

The next event for Lindenwood Cycling is the Pride Cyclo Cross event in Alton, Illinois September 25th.
