The Lindenwood cross country teams competed at the St. Louis Cross Country Fall Classic on Saturday at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The men's team finished eighth in an 8k race while the women placed sixth in a 5k event.

Finishing best for the Lions was Ben McGraw who placed 13th with a time of 27:01 followed by Ethan Stack in 36th in 28:28. Wesley Barger, Josh Jump and Mike Giamo were among the other Lions who finished under the 35 minute mark as well. In total, the men's team recorded 225 points for the meet.

The women's team had one of their best finishes all season today while recording 170 points at the event. Tanya Chibanda recorded a blazing fourth place finish with a time of 18:51. Ai Shinohara, Courtney Heidorn, and Nicole Rottler all finished within 22 minutes and in the top 45. Other Lady Lions were Caitlin Howe, Jessica Ching, Susan Good, and Johanna Mohr who placed and finished under 25 minutes.
