Jamere Holland Selected to Play in Dixie Gridiron Classic

Lindenwood University football player Jamere Holland has been selected to play in the Dixie Gridiron Classic on Feb. 5 in St. George, Utah.

Holland played one season in a Lions uniform. As a wide receiver, he led the team with 899 receiving yards and was second with 42 receptions and eight receiving touchdowns. He set a school season record for receiving yards per game, and was third for the most yards in a season.

Holland also returned 13 punts for 230 yards and one touchdown, and 12 kickoffs for 196 yards. He rushed six times for 82 yards and was second on the team with 127.9 all-purpose yards a game.

Nationally, Holland ranked 20th in receiving yards per game and 21st in all-purpose yards per game.

Holland was a member of a Lindenwood team that went 9-2 overall and advanced to the NAIA Football Championship Series. He was a part of an offense that averaged 52.5 points and 551.5 yards of offense a game.
