St. Louis Rams Will Hold Scrimmage At Hunter Stadium

The St. Louis Rams recently announced that they will hold an open scrimmage at Harlen C. Hunter Stadium on the Lindenwood campus for the second straight year. The scrimmage will take place on Saturday, August 7, at 6:30 p.m.

The Rams begin training camp on July 29 at the Russell Training Center in Earth City, Mo. The scrimmage at Lindenwood will take place on day 10 of their training camp. It is scheduled to last approximately two hours and will be followed by an autograph session.

Last year, an estimated 7,000 people packed Hunter Stadium to watch the Rams during their open scrimmage. Interest in the team's training camp is expected to be even higher this season as Steve Spagnuolo enters his second season as head coach and the team has several roster additions, including Sam Bradford, the overall No. 1 pick in last year's draft.

Hunter Stadium is home to the Lindenwood football team, which will enter the 2010 season as the No. 2 team in the NAIA after reaching last year's national championship contest.
