A member of the 2009 HAAC Champion baseball team was picked second overall in the Frontier League Baseball draft on Tuesday. Left-handed pitcher Chris Peters was selected by the Evansville Otters.

During his time at Lindenwood Peters was named to the second-team All-HAAC in 2009 while compiling a record of 8-3 with an ERA of 4.68. He throw at least six innings in over half of his starts.

The Frontier League is an independent baseball league which has 12 teams in seven different states.
