Men's Lacrosse Sees Season End After Upset Loss To Wisconsin
The Lindenwood men’s lacrosse season came to a shocking end on Saturday evening with a 15-14 loss to Wisconsin in the semifinals of the GRLC Tournament. With the loss, the Lions will miss the national tournament for the first time since 2004.

Earlier in the season, Lindenwood defeated Wisconsin by a 22-4 score during the regular season meeting between the two. It appeared Saturday’s game would have a similar outcome as the Lions jumped out to a 6-3 lead after one quarter.

The Badgers turned the tide of the game in the second quarter though when they cut Lindenwood’s lead to one at halftime at 7-6. Both teams netted three goals in the third quarter setting up a thrilling fourth. The game looked headed into overtime as both teams were tied at 14 until Wisconsin scored the game-winner with 18 seconds remaining.

Lindenwood ends its 2010 season with a 12-6 overall record.
