Lindenwood men's basketball head coach
Brad Soderberg announced today that two high school seniors have signed to play with the Lions next year. Garrett Reeg comes to Lindenwood from Oakville High School in St. Louis, Mo., and Michael Boos is from Sun Prairie High School in Madison, Wisc.
Reeg nearly averaged a double-double last season with 16.9 points and 9.6 rebounds a game. He led Oakville to a 27-5 record and a runner-up finish in the state tournament. He was named a first-team all-state and all-conference performer, and was second-team all-metro. Reeg was named to the all-tournament team at the Collinsville/Schnucks Holiday Classic after leading the tournament with 25 points a game.
For his four-year career, Reeg scored 1,055 points and grabbed 810 rebounds. He was twice named first-team all-conference and twice helped Oakville advance to the state semifinals. Reeg was also a member of the St. Louis Salukis AAU squad.
Boos led Sun Prairie with 13.4 points a game last season and also averaged four rebounds, four assists, and three steals a game. He helped the squad go 15-10 and advance to the state sectional semifinals. He was first-team all-conference and all-area, an honorable mention all-state selection, and a Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association all-star.
For his career, Boos scored 887 points and dished out 270 assists. He also played for the Wisconsin Force AAU team.
