Men's Volleyball Receives Conference Awards

Mike Emerick was named the MAMVIC West's Libero of the Year for the second straight season.
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team had two players named to the MAMVIC West All-Conference team this past weekend, and four others were tabbed as All-Conference academic selections.

Junior Mike Emerick was selected as the conference's Libero of the Year for the second straight season. Emerick appeared in all 34 matches for the Lions and led the conference with 3.5 digs per set. He totaled 442 digs in 126 games. He was named National Libero of the Week four times this year. 

Mike Warren was named to the All-Conference team from the opposite hitter position. Warren finished third in voting for conference player of the year. He averaged 3.0 kills per set, and tallied a team-high 366 kills in 124 games. Warren led the conference in total blocks with 136.

Academic All-Conference awards went to Tyler Dolph, Andrew Hock, Taylor Morrill, and Emerick.

Lindenwood finished its season with a 21-13 record overall, and a 7-5 mark in the MAMVIC West. After finishing fourth in the conference during the regular season, the Lions advanced to the conference tournament championship, but fell to Missouri Baptist.

Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds. 
Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision.
