The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team won a pair of neutral site games over the weekend in Memphis, Tenn. In wins over Tennessee and Texas A&M, the Lions won by a single goal.
On Friday night in thrilling fashion, the Lions knocked off Tennessee by an 8-7 score. The two teams were tied late in the ballgame when
Jordan McKay scored the game-winner with just 16 seconds left.
Saturday, Lindenwood bettered Texas A&M by a 7-6 margin.
Andrew Flood made19 saves in goal.
Tyler Davis and
Sam Spallitta led the offense with two goals apiece.
With the victories, Lindenwood is now 3-3 on the year. The Lions will be in action again next Friday evening versus Colorado.
