Lady Lions Tennis Dominates Indiana Tech
Women's tennis (2009)

The Lady Lions tennis team was back on the LU tennis courts and dominated visiting Indiana Tech on Monday afternoon, 9-0.

 Lindenwood started off sweeping the doubles matches, 3-0. The number one team of Allison Gilles and Severine DeBeuf beat their opponents 8-1 as did Sarah Bailey and Rachel Bailey. Wrapping up the doubles matches was Raminta Kazemekaityte and Adela Slovakova who won the set, 8-2.
 
The singles matches were much of the same for the Lady Lions only losing 14 games in 10 sets. Leading the way was Sharpe and Bailey who won their matches 6-0, 6-1. Slovakova defeated Aleksandra Spasie 6-3, 6-2, Gilles won 6-2, 6-0. Kazemekaityte upended Christina Ausler 6-1, 6-1 while DeBeuf finished off the watch with a 6-2, 6-1 win.

Up next for the Lady Lions will be a home match against Graceland on March 20th.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
