Men's Basketball Falls In Second Half To Evangel

Lindenwood and Evangel were tied at halftime but the Crusaders pulled away in the second half for a 69-62 victory over the Lions.
The two teams were tied at 32 but Evangel shot 60 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes, compared to just 35.3 percent for Lindenwood. The Lions were especially cold from beyond the arc where they hit just five-of-19 for the game, including two-of-10 in the second half.
Toriano Adams led Lindenwood with 16 points after he connected on seven-of-13 from the field.
Joey Parker had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, and
Alfred Nelson was in double figures with 11 points.
Richard Rose led the team with four assists.
