Men's Basketball Falls In Second Half To Evangel

Toriano Adams had a team-high 16 points versus Evangel.
Lindenwood and Evangel were tied at halftime but the Crusaders pulled away in the second half for a 69-62 victory over the Lions.

The two teams were tied at 32 but Evangel shot 60 percent from the field in the final 20 minutes, compared to just 35.3 percent for Lindenwood. The Lions were especially cold from beyond the arc where they hit just five-of-19 for the game, including two-of-10 in the second half.

Toriano Adams led Lindenwood with 16 points after he connected on seven-of-13 from the field. Joey Parker had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, and Alfred Nelson was in double figures with 11 points. Richard Rose led the team with four assists.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
