Four members of the Lindenwood men's basketball team were named to the 2009-10 all-conference teams. Toriano Adams was a first-team selection, third-team honors went to Joey Parker and Brett Thompson, and Richard Rose was an honorable mention pick.
Adams was a first-team honoree for the second straight year. This season, he is averaging 11.8 points and 10.0 rebounds a game. He ranks fourth in the country in offensive rebounds per game and seventh in rebounding average. Adams has 12 double-doubles and has led the Lions in rebounding in 24 of the team's 30 games. He is shooting a team-high 58.7 percent from the field.
Parker ranks 22nd in the NAIA with 4.4 assists a game and is in the top 50 in assist-to-turnover ratio. He has led the team in assists 24 times and in steals for 13 games. He is fourth on the team with 10.2 points a game and second with 33 steals. Parker also grabs 3.8 rebounds a game.
Thompson is the team's leading blocker with 33 in just 20 games. He is also averaging 11.8 points and 6.1 rebounds a game, and has made 57.1 percent of his field goal attempts.
Rose was named honorable mention for the second straight year. He is the team's leading scorer with 14.3 points a game and also leads the squad with 38 steals and 44 three-pointers. He has made 84.9 percent of his free throws, which ranks 13th in the NAIA.
Lindenwood begins play in the HAAC Postseason Tournament on Wednesday when it hosts Missouri Valley at 7 p.m.
