Lady Lions' Regular Season Comes to a Close With a Loss

Cassie Williams scored 14 points in her final game as a Lady Lion.

The Lindenwood Lady Lions basketball team wrapped up its 2009-10 season with a loss to William Jewell, 98-58 in Liberty, Missouri.

 It was all William Jewell from the opening tip. The Cardinal took a 46-24 lead into the locker room and the second half would be much of the same. Lindenwood would be outscored 52-34 in the final half.
 
Senior Cassie Williams ended her Lindenwood career with 14 points, while Kelly Albers pitched in with 10.

With the loss the Lions would end their season with an overall record of 8-22 and a conference mark of 6-14.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
