The Lindenwood wrestling staff hosted a free youth clinic for area youth organizations prior to Lindenwood's dual with Truman on February 10.
“The NAIA Champions of Character initiative is an initiative that the Lindenwood wrestling team and Lindenwood University hold in the highest regard,” said men's wrestling head coach Joe Parisi. “This is a great event to give back to the community and we feel honored to host such a fantastic opportunity for our area youth. “
Over 100 youth wrestlers attended the clinic and represented seven youth organizations from Francis Howell North, ABC Youth Club, Wentzville Holt, St. Charles, Fort Zumwalt North, Francis Howell Central, and Fort Zumwalt West.
After the clinic, six youths wrestled in front of a large crowd during halftime of the Lindenwood/Truman competition.
