Both the men's and women's bowling teams concluded their regular seasons last weekend at the Hoosier Classic, which had one of the largest fields in collegiate bowling history. The Lions and Lady Lions both qualified for match play, but were eliminated in the quarterfinal round.

Lindenwood qualified third in the 69-team men's field with a team average of 1046.89. Brett Cunningham finished 14th with a 216.11 average, and RJ Klann was 19th with a 212.67 average.

The women's side qualified sixth out of 41 bowling teams. Three players had top 20 finishes, led by Corina Bakoylis who was eighth with a 198.56 average. Laura Fonnergra was 15th with a 193.22 mark, and Jenny Petzoldt was 17th with a 192.22 average.
