Lindenwood Takes Down Rival Missouri Baptist

Lindenwood picked up its second win over a ranked opponent this year with a victory over Missouri Baptist.
The No. 8 Lindenwood men's volleyball team defeated No. 6 Missouri Baptist in four sets Tuesday night. After the Spartans evened the match at one game apiece, the Lions quickly slammed the door winning by scores of 34-32, 20-30, 30-26, 30-20.

Matt Schmack and Mike Warren both had 15 kills apiece to lead Lindenwood. Taylor Morrill added 12 kills and Mike Larson tallied 45 assists. Mike Emerick logged a team-high 13 digs. Andrew Hock and JM Plummer each had 10. Warren posted nine blocks and Rick Hess collected seven.

Lindenwood (7-6, 4-2) will travel to to Milwaukee, Wis. for a trio of games this weekend.

Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds. 
Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision.
