The Lindenwood synchronized skating team had an impressive debut at the 37th annual Gateway Invitational at the Brentwood Ice Arena in Brentwood, Mo.

The Lady Lions finished first in the Open Collegiate event. Lindenwood skated as a whole team meaning none of the girls competed in spotlights. Every skater received first place ordinals.

The synchronized skating will not compete again until Jan. 15 at the Mid-America championships.
