Fi ve Lindenwood wrestlers placed on Saturday at the Brand Open hosted by Nebraska-Omaha.

Tyler Porras led the team with a third-place showing after going 3-1 in the heavyweight bracket. Two of his wins were by fall and his lone loss came in the semifinal round.

Other placewinners included Galen Williams finishing fourth at 125 pounds, John Murray coming in fourth at 165 pounds, Elliot Martin placing fifth at 133 pounds, and Drae Cox was sixth at 174 pounds. 

Also on Saturday for the wrestling team, Sam Schmitz won a 4-3 decision at the NWCA All-Star Challenge.
