The Lindenwood University table tennis team captured the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) Fall competition. They went undefeated and beat Washington University, Saint Louis University, University of Illinois, and Murray State University.

The Lions did not lose a match to Saint Louis University or Murray State University, beating each of them 4-0. The Lions dropped one match against the University of Illinois winning 3-1. However, it would come down to a doubles match with Washington University to decide the winning school as the four singles matched were tied at 2-2. #Andre Irigoyen# and #Guilherme Dalcin# took matters into their own hands as they defeated the Washington University pair in three straight games 11-6, 12-10, 11-7.

Next up for the table tennis team is the 2009 South Shore Sports/Butterfly Table Tennis Championships (Nov 14-15) in Highland, Indiana.
