Two weeks ago the Lindenwood Lion roller hockey team started their season with a perfect weekend. This weekend has started the same way for the Lions. The Lions swept two games on Saturday, a 8-4 win over UMSL and a 10-3 win over St. Charles Community College.

The win over the defending national champions, UMSL, was the second for the Lions in the past three weeks. Forward Kyle Gouge had a big day against UMSL and SCCC netting a pair of hat tricks and also adding two assists against St. Charles Community College.

Gouge was not the only Lion to record a hat trick, senior forward Travis Bokina scored three goals in the big win over UMSL. Joe Colmo was in the net against UMSL recording his first win against the Tritons and Dave Thomas was between the pipes for the SCCC contest.

With the two wins the Lions have improved their record to 5-0 and are 2-0 against the UMSL on the young season.
