The Lindenwood Table Tennis team traveled to northern Indiana to compete in the Highland Open Table Tennis Tournament on November 14-15. Lion freshman,
Michelle John, took top honors in the U-2100 competition by winning the singles championship 11-3, 11-5, and 11-5.

Fred Cantarelli#'s run in the U-2300 singles championship came to an end in the finals where he lost to Arjun Shankaren of Kentucky 6-11, 11-5, 16-14, and 11-6. In the Hardbat Handicap division, #
Andre Irigoyen# spotted his opponent 17 points in the final match but was still able to win the match.
The Hardbat Open division once again went to Irigoyen as he defeated his Egyptian opponent 21-18 and 21-18.
In a thrilling Open Doubles championship, Irigoyen and Cantarelli came back from two games down to take the title 7-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-13, 13-11, 11-7, and 11-4.
Next up for the Lion's table tennis team is the 2009 Joola North American Teams Championship in Baltimore, Maryland over Thanksgiving break.
