Lindenwood University Athletics

As the Lindenwood Lions start our second season as an official member of NCAA Division II, the Black & Gold Club allows for alumni, parents, faculty, and community supporters who have an interest in supporting the mission of Lindenwood University and the Lions Athletics programs. The Lions have a deep history of athletic achievements and the transition into NCAA athletics allows us to enhance the Lindenwood brand on a national level. With seven teams advancing to their national tournaments in 2013-14 and a 2014 football game televised on the CBS Sports Network, Lindenwood is growing on a national level and gifts to the Black & Gold Club can immediately impact our programs and allow the student-athletes an enhanced educational and athletic, experience during their time here at Lindenwood.

Lion pride is growing throughout campus and throughout the region. The support for our programs has grown over the years and supporting the Black & Gold Club allow us to further fund our athletics programs and provide additional scholarship opportunities to deserving student-athletes from all of the world.

Where Does My Money Go?
Lindenwood provides scholarship opportunities to athletes for 27 different NCAA sports program. Some areas where your donations can be immediately felt are through the Lions Scholarship Fund that has been established to aid those student-athletes who are seeking to complete their degrees after their athletic eligibility has completed.

Another possibility is direct team support, which allows supporters to designate their donation to a specific sports program that allows the coaches to provide additional amenities to the student-athletes. Those amenities could be additional teaching aids for practice, enhanced travel accommodations or entertainment options while on the road, or the latest in team practice and travel equipment and uniforms to allow us to represent the Lindenwood brand with style and class.
