The Lindenwood women's tennis team came up short on Saturday in Tahlequah, Okla. against Northeastern State by a score of 8-1. The loss drops the Lady Lions to 2-5 in the MIAA and 4-9 overall this season.
Lindenwood wasn't able to win any doubles matches, but did grab a victory in singles play.
Adela Slovakova picked up the only victory for the Lady Lions when she won the number one singles match in two sets 6-1 and 6-4.
Lindenwood has four more matches this season including the last MIAA match of the season on April 9th against Lincoln University of Missouri.
