The Lady Lions tennis team came up short on Friday against Missouri Western by a score of 5-4. Lindenwood falls to 4-8 overall and 2-4 in the conference this season.
The Lady Lions took two of the three doubles matches, but lost four of the six singles matches on the day.
Adela Slovakova won the number one singles match 6-3 and 6-3. Teammate
Daria Ivanova was victorious in the number three singles match 6-1 and 6-2. Number four singles player
Mariona Pinol was tied 5-5 in her first set when she suffered an injury and was forced to retire mid-match.
Lindenwood will be back in action on April 4th against Northeastern State.
