Lindenwood women's hockey goalie
Nicole Hensley was named to the national USCHO All-Rookie team which was released on Friday.
Hensley was joined on the national all-Rookie team by defensemen Erin Ambrose (Colgate) and Alexis Crossley (New Hampshire), and forwards Hanna Brandt (Minnesota), Haley Skarupa (Boston College), and Sarah Lefort (Boston).
Hensley led the nation last season with 1083 saves and was 17th with a .922 save percentage. In conference play, she had a 7-4-3 record with a 2.39 GAA and a .939 save percentage. Hensley made headlines earlier this month when she made 90 saves in a CHA playoff game against Robert Morris, 12 more than the NCAA Division I record for saves in a game.
Hensley was selected a second-team all-CHA performer this season. She was also named to the conference All-Rookie team and was the CHA Rookie of the Year.
