Lindenwood Men's Basketball Announces Two Additions To Roster

The Lindenwood men’s basketball team announced today the addition of two players for the 2010-11 season. Efkan Eren and Devin Johnson will both bring size to the Lions lineup.

Eren, a sophomore, is a 6’8”, 225 pound forward from Istanbul, Turkey. In 2008-09, he played his senior year of high school at Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, Maine. He averaged 13 points and eight rebounds for the Huskies. Last season, he attended Pitt Community College in Greenville, N.C. and averaged six points and three rebounds a contest.

Johnson, a junior, is a 6’10”, 320 pound center from Chicago. The Chicago Lutheran High School graduate last played at Parkland Community College in Champaign, Ill. He averaged four points and four rebounds a game and shot 42 percent from the field.

Lindenwood opens the 2010-11 season on Nov. 5-6 when it hosts the Lion Pride Classic.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
