Christina Edwards Named to the All-Conference Team

Christina Edwards (34) was the lone Lady Lion named to the All-Conference team.
Junior forward Christina Edwards of the Lindenwood women’s basketball team was named to the third team All-Conference team for her efforts in the 2009-10 season.

The Kalamazoo, Michigan native joined the team on January 1st and started her season with four straight double-doubles and most importantly to three wins. For the season she would compile nine double-doubles to lead the team. Edwards led Lindenwood in scoring with over 15 points a night and was also tops on the squad in rebounding with over eight a night. The junior had her best night of the season against Graceland, when she piled up 35 points and 22 rebounds.

The Lady Lions will play in the first round of the HAAC tournament on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in Liberty, Missouri against William Jewell.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
