Feb. 15, 2009- Lindenwood shooter Jake Wallace won the International Trap competition this weekend at the Bahama Mama Championships.
Wallace finished with a final score of 113 out of 125 shots. He trailed by three shots after the first-round but took over the lead with a perfect second round. He then shot rounds of 21, 24 and 22 to win the event by three birds.
Teammate Dan Stokes finished sixth overall with a score of 103. Chad Hafer hit 90 birds and finished first in the C Class.
In International Skeet, Ali Chiang finished sixth overall and was the Ladies Champion. She had four rounds of 23, one of 24, and one of 22, and won the women’s title by 10 shots. Former Lion and Olympian Sean McLelland won the overall title in that event with a total score of 122 out of 125.
