Swimming and Diving Fall to Missouri State
Swimming (2009)
Chelsea Hardrick won the one meter diving event at Missouri State.
For the second straight weekend the Lindenwood swimming and diving team took on a Division I opponent. This time it was the Missouri State Bears, but this time the Lion’s men and women both fell. The men finished with 45 points to the Bears 63 and the women fell 61-42.

On the men’s side, Javier Hernandez won both the 1000 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly. Sergio Molina recorded his season best time in the 100 yard breaststroke to win and DJ Ashrug finished with the fastest time in the 100 yard freestyle. For the first time this year, diver John Rundle won the three meter diving event.

Chelsea Hardrick was the winner of the one meter diving event on the women’s side. To go along with Hardrick’s win was Tiffany Oskvarek’s win in the 100 yard backstroke, Therese Klockare’s win in 500 yard free and Lauren Thrasher was victorious in the 100 yard backstroke.

The Lions will have a week off and take on Washington University next weekend.
