Parks Peterson and Philip Staback Named HAAC Players Of The Week
The Lindenwood football team captured two of the three Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) weekly awards today. Philip Staback was the conference Offensive Player of the Week, and Parks Peterson was the HAAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Staback directed the Lindenwood offense to the second-highest point total in school history in a 73-6 win over William Jewell. He was under center in nine series, and led the Lions to six touchdowns and one field goal. He completed 76.9 percent of his passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 38 yards. He was responsible for 13 first downs, with 11 passing and two rushing.

Peterson blocked two punts against the Cardinals. The first led to just a 14 yard punt and gave Lindenwood the ball near midfield. The second was blocked backwards for 24 yards and went out of bounds at the seven yard line. Lindenwood scored one play later for an insurance touchdown right before the end of the half
