Lion Soccer Score a Huge Win Over Graceland

The Lindenwood Lions traveled to Lamoni, Iowa on Saturday for a key HAAC battle between two of the top teams in the conference standings. The Lions would leave Iowa with a huge 2-0 shutout win over the Yellowjackets.

For the second straight game the Lions would jump out to an early 1-0 when Robin Rundstrom would score for the second straight game. The Lions would put the game away when Joakim Hagberg would net his first goal of the year.

Goalie Victor Francoz made numerous key saves to keep the lead for the Lions and recorded his fifth shutout of the year.

With the win the Lions improved their record to 7-8-2 and their HAAC record to 5-2-1 and most importantly moved to second in the HAAC standings. The Lions only have one more regular season game on Tuesday in Marshal, Mo. against the Missouri Valley Vikings.

Shauna Isbell
Women's Wrestling
Shauna Isbell captured the first individual championship for women's wrestling in the 130 pound division at the 2012 Women's College Wrestling Association National Tournament. This was the first women's collegiate wrestling national championship for both Isbell and Lindenwood. She won twice by pin-fall and three times by decision. 
Garrett  Reeg
Men's Basketball
Garrett Reeg helped the Lindenwood men's basketball team go 3-0 last week over Webster, McKendree and Lincoln. Reeg recorded double-figure points in all three games including a 14-point mark against Webster as well as McKendree. In three games, Reeg shot 68 percent from the field and 100 percent from the free-throw line while posting 19 total rebounds.
