The Lindenwood Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2009 was inducted at the annual Hall of Banquet last Saturday evening during Homecoming ceremonies at the school.
Six of the inductees were present at the banquet in student-athletes Max Brown (football), Edward Donnie Dillard (track and field) and Skip Hale (men’s basketball/baseball), coach Steve Crotz (women’s basketball), meritorious service award winner Randy Biggerstaff, and the 2001-02 roller hockey team.
Also inducted but unable to attend were student-athletes Marijke Callebaut (women’s soccer), Branko Savic (men’s soccer), and Kelli Wind (diving).
The other award presented during the evening went to synchronized swimmer Devah Leenheer who received this year’s Student Achievement Award.
Lindenwood alum and co-host of the Fast Lane on ESPN 101.1 Bob Ramsey served as the master of ceremonies for the evening. Lindenwood University President Dr. James D. Evans and Dean of Intercollegiate Athletics John Creer presented the awards, and Steve House gave the invocation.
