The Lindenwood clay shooting team got their season off to a good start at the International Skeet World Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Four Lions finished in the top three in their respective classes and two Lions finished in the top six of the overall.

Brett Thompson
Men's Basketball
Brett Thompson averaged a double-double for the week with 13.5 points and 13.5 rebounds a game. He shot 65 percent from two-point range in the two games and his defense resulted in three blocks versus Evangel and he helped hold Benedictine to 32.8 percent shooting from the field. In the win over Benedictine, Thompson had season-highs with 24 points and 14 rebounds.

Synchronized Swimming

Devah Leenheer led the Lindenwood synchronized swimming to a third-place finish at the Canisius Invitational. She finished third in the solo competition and teammed up with Bethany Burton to be second in the duet event.
